Empowering those with fibroids to be fearless
We're so excited for The White Dress Project's 2024 Empowerment Experience - a celebration of our 10-year Anniversary and a decade of remarkable progress, unwavering support, and monumental achievements. Together, we've cultivated a vibrant community, standing in solidarity and driving legislative changes to ensure the voices of women with fibroids are heard and their needs addressed.
What are fibroids?
Browse our articles and videos to learn more. Be informed and know your condition!
Our mission:
to galvanize support and promote national awareness about the fibroid epidemic among people domestically and globally through education, research, and advocacy.
Why the white dress?
By educating people about fibroids, treatment options, and sharing our stories, we hope to embolden everyone to wear white!
As Black Maternal Health Week continues, followed by National Infertility Awareness, next week, let us remember the women who lost their lives in childbirth as well as those who lost their lives due to not being seen or heard.
Join TWDP next Tuesday, April 23rd @ 7:00pm as we’ll be hosting a safe space discussion that will focus on Understanding the Connection between Fibroids, Cervical Cancer and Maternal Health.

We are Louder than Fibroids!
We all have a story and it is important for us to share our journeys with one another. By making connections with others that are going through the same struggles, fibroid survivors find comfort and strength in this community that is united through shared experiences and a shared vision of hope that we will break down the walls of silence and together be louder than fibroids.
