White Dress Cares is a community-centered initiative of The White Dress Project, dedicated to supporting women impacted by uterine fibroids. Through programs that provide financial help, emotional support and meaningful connection, it ensures no woman has to walk this journey alone.
The White Dress Cares Patient Fund is a patient-assistance program created to help women afford medically necessary fibroid care. It provides direct financial support to approved medical providers so patients can move forward with treatment without delay or hardship.
We provide direct-to-provider financial assistance for:
✔ Diagnostic imaging
✔ Surgical treatment
✔ Post-operative recovery care

Because your health should never depend on your bank account.
This is a direct response economic intervention for women who need care.
A 2015 study found that “the total costs, sum of direct and indirect costs, ranged from $11,717-$25,023 per patient per year, after diagnosis or surgery among patients with uterine fibroid tumors.” Adjusted for inflation, today, that is $16,307-$34,825 per patient per year.

Who This Fund Is For
You may be eligible if you:
✔ Have been diagnosed with uterine fibroids
✔ Have a medical provider who recommends treatment
✔ Are uninsured, underinsured, or experiencing financial hardship
✔ Need assistance paying for diagnostics, surgery, or recovery care
What Are We Funding
White Dress Cares may provide financial assistance for:
✔ Ultrasounds, MRIs, and other diagnostic testing
✔ Myomectomy, hysterectomy, and other fibroid procedures
✔ Follow-up appointments, recovery care, and other post-operative needs
Funding is limited and based on medical necessity and financial need.
We are funding health and economic mobility.
Because getting the treatment you need shouldn't come with financial hardship.
